Non-surgical Treatment
Pain and dysfunction affecting the hip and knee joints and their surrounding bone, muscles and tendons is common. Pathology may be the result of injury (acute or chronic) or underlying disease process such as arthritis and its many causes. Some painful conditions are the result of abnormally shaped bones and joints from childhood.
When these conditions case pain and limited function, investigations and treatment are required. As a general rule, non-surgical methods are the first-line-treatment. Non-surgical treatment is also an important part of post-operative rehabilitation.
